Welcome to Lion of Judah Ethiopian American Cuisine! At our restaurant, we celebrate the rich and vibrant culture of Ethiopia through our delicious dishes, authentic coffee ceremony and stories.

Every dish on our menu is crafted with love and care, using traditional recipes passed down through generations, we use fresh ingredients infused with spices that are shipped directly from Ethiopia. From the aromatic herbs to the exotic flavors, each bite transports you to the colorful and vibrant streets of Addis Ababa.

Other than our amazing food, our establishment is truly special because of the story behind its inception. Our restaurant was born out of a beautiful love story - a wedding anniversary celebration. Co-owners, Jara and Christal Gemeda, met each other on May 25th, 2008, they were married on May 25th, 2014, and to commemorate their love and their 10th year anniversary, they decided to open their family restaurant, Lion of Judah Ethiopian American Cuisine, on May 25th, 2024. They wanted to spend their special day meeting, greeting and feeding those around them.
